Milan Police Department Information
In addition to the three full-time officers including long time Chief James Ward providing 24/7 security to the residents, the officers have provided several children related services. Sergeant Bob Meister has led the Department’s annual support for the Milan 3rd Grade Seat Belt program. Chief Ward hosted along with Fisher-Titus Hospital fitting our Milan’s youth with new bicycle helmets. Youngsters are now wearing new and properly fitted helmets thanks to this effort.
Chief Ward can be found twice daily on school days with his cruiser parked adjacent to the Milan elementary school zone protecting Milan’s most precious asset, the children, along with the school crossing guard employed by the Village for this critical task. The Police Department is located in the rear of the Administration Building, 11 S. Main Street, with its entrance facing the alley.
